It's his first day of school
and i know i'm going to cry
just yesterday he was in my arms
now he's about to say goodbye
i packed him his lunch
with an extra little treat
he's talking about his lunch box

It's the end of his high school

Well college didn't last long

with a gleam in my eyes and flushed red cheeks
layin in bed and
we just said goodbye and i was reluctant to hang up
